Sitting or standing in the same position for hours makes your neck, shoulders and wrists stiff. A two-minute stretch break every hour or two can help you feel looser and more comfortable.
1. Wrist and forearm stretch
Stretch one arm out in front of you, palm facing up. With your other hand, gently pull your fingers back towards you. Hold for 20 seconds, then swap arms.
2. Cross-body shoulder stretch
Bring one arm straight across your chest and use your other arm to gently hug it closer. Keep your shoulders down and relaxed. Hold for 20 seconds on each side.
3. Seated neck stretch
Sit tall and let your shoulders drop. Place one hand on your head and gently tilt your ear towards your shoulder. Hold for 20 seconds on each side. Don't pull; let the weight of your hand do the work.
